From introduction to induction
During his Grade 7 year, we open the McKenzie Gates to your son. Our goal is to help you determine if Hilton College is the right school for him.

We invite him to an inspirational Sports Camp in January and an immersive New Boys Weekend in March, including overnight stays for boys and information sessions for parents. You should be ready to decide when we extend our offers of place in April.
A lot of planning and preparation happens ahead of your boy’s arrival in Grade 8
Upon accepting a place at Hilton College, your son’s induction journey steps up a notch. From May to December, we arrange meetings between your family and our staff to discuss next steps, while we get to know your son better and address any learning barriers.
Customised support for new students
When you visit us for your son’s uniform fitting towards the end of his Grade 7 year, his housemaster will spend time with him, and he will get to know his Grade 12 mentor.
