Skills for the 4th Industrial Revolution

We know that robots may help us get to where we want to be faster, but they can’t be as creative as humans (yet). Similarly, emotional intelligence is set to be one of the primary skills used by all industry leaders and influencers. The 4th Industrial Revolution is likely to be particularly disruptive because instead of being marked by technological advances, it is concerned with advances in communication and connectivity; technologies with the potential to connect billions more people to the web, significantly enhancing business efficiencies, regenerating environments and improving asset management techniques.

Public speaking, communication and personal branding

You are your brand. How you communicate is critical to your success. Today so many of us are able to create a space for ourselves digitally, but in-person connection remains the most powerful way to build understanding and relationship. Public speaking is without a doubt a skill that can be used to empower young people, and actively change lives for the better. Hilton College has consistently produced public speakers of a high calibre. Experts in the field of personal branding will lead this module. Now is the time to find your voice.

Module Schedule

French as a second language

French is spoken by 141 million African people and millions more globally, making it a language that can open up the world. As we continue to evolve as global citizens, language continues to propel us forward beyond cultural boundaries, enabling industries to thrive. Graduates of modern language degrees remain an asset across business sectors, spearheading roles that extend well beyond interpretation and translation to encompass all elements of business transaction, international cooperation and politics.
